This 1979 Austrian release is a genuine curiosity—a collaboration between Bruno Seiser and saxophonist Heinz Reincke that merges poetry, radioplay, and jazz-funk. The Black Trace and Hidden Space compositions provide propulsive, funky backbones while spoken word and theatrical elements drift across the top. It's experimental without being inaccessible, rhythmically grounded despite its artistic ambitions. This isn't pure jazz, isn't pure spoken word, but rather an interesting hybrid from the European margins. Scarce and genuinely odd in the best way, it rewards collectors interested in unconventional voices and the overlooked corners of 1970s avant-garde music.
