Salisbury
By the mid-70s, Uriah Heep had become masters of theatrical hard rock and progressive ambition. "Salisbury" (1977) showcases the classic lineup—David Byron's commanding vocals, Micky Box's assertive guitars—working through a strong batch of songs that balance anthemic power with genuine compositional depth. "Lady In Black" and "Bird Of Prey" remain high points. Bronze Records gave them space to make substantial rock statements, and this album demonstrates why the band maintained a devoted following. An excellent representation of their mid-period strength.
