By 2006, Oasis had already fractured into memory, yet *Stop The Clocks* reminds us why those years mattered so urgently. This compilation gathers four tracks that capture different facets of their legacy: "Acquiesce" showcases the Gallagher brothers' rare harmony, while the "Cigarettes and Alcohol" demo reveals the song in rawer form, stripped of its stadium sheen. A live recording of "Some Might Say" from 1995 places you back in that era when Britpop felt genuinely vital, and *The Masterplan*—the B-side that many consider superior to its A-side—underscores why their songwriting cut so deep. This isn't a greatest-hits package but rather a thoughtful selection that lets you hear both the polish and the raw nerve beneath, a fitting retrospective for a band whose influence outlasted their time together.
