Parts Of The Process
Morcheeba are the Somerset trio who helped define trip hop in the 1990s, bringing jazzy atmospheres and downtempo grooves to electronic music. Parts of the Process arrived in 2003 with producer Tim Freegard and finds the band exploring deeper into their electronic and hip hop influences while maintaining the moody sophistication they're known for. Skye Edwards' vocals glide over layered synths, crisp drums, and jazzy guitar work, creating an immersive, late-night listening experience. The album showcases their ability to blend electronic production with organic instrumentation, with a sound that feels both intricate and propulsive. Increasingly collectible on wax.
